About Ayia Napa

Ayia Napa was once a small fishing village in the south-east of Cyprus but over the years has become a popular holiday resort because of its beautiful sandy beaches and tourist attractions and is now visited by many people each year from around the world.

Ayia Napa is well known for its nightlife but on the other hand there is a more tranquil side to Ayia Napa, beautiful white beaches, Nissi beach being the best, narrow cobbled streets, medieval monastery with beautiful gardens all add to a great experience in Ayia Napa.

Ayia Napa has a wide range of water sports including jet-ski's, water-skiing, snorkelling, parasailing, windsurfing, sailing and pedalos which can be found at all the beaches in the area.

The Island of Cyprus is full of culture and with the island being just a 1.5 hour drive long you can visit anywhere on a day trip, from the Mountains at Troodos to the Castle at Paphos.

Ayia Napa enjoys year round sunshine with July and August being the most popular months for holidaymakers, with temperatures soaring to an average of 32˚C+, winter time is mild and barely sees the temperature drop below 10˚C.
